How did this get 31 votes? Lets go for some creativity!

I'm surprised anyone voted for this.

I was reading thru the ideas that people submitted, and I saw a few good ones on which I placed my votes. Why can't everyone submit votes for the ideas that are actually good, instead of bad ideas?

i dunno why i voted. i just did cause it was funny.

Hi Yush,

Ia actually was meant to be a joke, I am amazed at how many votes it is getting!

As this contest seems to be like a Popularity Contest from high school I hope to shake things up a bit by grabbing hold of the current popular kids coat-tails (you), and letting others know what I have to offer in terms of possibly running the popular circle.

Ahem.

My plan linked above (copy and past the text if it isn't linked) is up for the Prom King/Queen (internet-related creations are unisex obviously) for many reasons, but to put them all here would really mess up the flow of the page. If you got some time on your hands (the post is the equivalent to 4 pages single-spaced in Word) take a look at the post and let me know what you think. In reality, if you happen to be one of the people that voted for this idea (you must have a long list of MySpace friends or email addresses, goodness me) I have no doubt you will have an interest in my own. Not only does my plan integrate MySpace, but also other niche online communities on the rise including Second Life, Facebook, and Flickr. If you are a member of any one of these communities you know how quickly they have grown and continue to do so. Aligning oneself with all four of these online communities, in very distinct ways for each, is the key to starting a huge foundation of users.

If you think I am wrong let your voice be heard. I have been waiting for an online debate for a long time. The way I see this contest going, especially with the lack of "bad idea" buttons, is for those with the longest list of contacts to end up winning. What I will do to try to even out things (in my favor) is to offer anyone who votes for my idea a couple of drinks on me. Obviously this would have to be done in person, but if you live near the Bay Area in California I think we can figure something out.

Band together against the popular kids and let one of us quirky, artistic, over-thinking types finally win the popularity contest. Oh, and if you were wondering after reading my marketing plan, yes, you are invited to my Graduation.

Argh,

Tyler Cushing

22-year-old quirky, artistic, over-thinking type

Well, the model itself isn't bad really. The exorbitant amount of money used to do it is the absurd part, but the model is still a justifiable model for marketing. I think people like the word billion really. Creativity takes a back seat to big numbers.

Tyler

Tyler is a spam artist. I don't know if there is anything in the rules against spammers, but he has admitted to spamming people to get votes. He has gone around and trashed everyone of the top suggestions and posted big advertisements in them, trying to get votes for his suggestion.

Instead of working on coming up with a good idea and winning things fairly, this Tyler is trying to scam his way into winning. I don't know if there is anything in the contest rules against spammers, but there really should be!!

bitpower: Once again, your irony blows me away. You should write for NPR.

Vowell-like jump-kick,

Tyler

I voted for this guy because I think Tyler is an ass. Here is a free vote!

I think we could all write 9 words and appear stupid but Tyler does a better job at it.
