Create an experiential marketing campaign that gets Snap out into the streets with laptops and a high speed connection to give the world the Snap challenge. Have a contest to see who can find a website the quickest using different sites. Award fun prizes. Target college campuses and give away Snap t-shirts, etc.

The best thing to do is connect with people's hearts and minds.

1) Figure out what's the Snap backstory? Snap started as a "safe" search engine in 1998. It's been under the radar since then. Now it's back with a big splash. Could it overtake Google? Find your PR story and run with it! Get into influential tech magazines like Business 2.0, Wired and Fast Company. With a story, people feel like they're part of Snap and have something to *tell other people.*

2) Get Firefox to put you in their toolbar as the first choice. Google gives them ad revenue for every search made in the toolbar – offer them more money!

3) Donate some proceeds to charity. Find a target audience - Snap is the search engine for WHO? Don't say everyone - that's just not possible. Is it for smart people? Young people? Hipsters? Urban? Suburban? Moms? Business? Pick a position and hammer those people. Find the influencers and let them follow!

4) Be friendly. Look at how Washington Mutual uses friendly language everywhere. Don't just be the best, be the nicest. Even when your account is overdrawn, WAMU sends a very polite letter. "Hope you're having a fun time searching!" could pop up while search results come by.

OK that's all I have for free. Good luck.
