Snap should launch their site with a series of teaser ads on major web sites across a variety of genres. The ads would be tailored to relate to the content of the site that it is featured on. For example if Snap would place an ad on ESPN the ad would say something like "Snap Sports". The link would take you to a search for sports. If it was on a music site it could say "Snap Rock". This method of using the snap logo with content specific ads correlating to a specific site would allow them to place a variety of ads on sites with high volume traffic and greatly increase their chances of people using their site. It is similar to what ebay does with their "it" campaign. This is a great way to minimize advertising dollars spent, but still generating a "Buzz" and directing a lot of new users to the Snap home page. |
