Recently in a Wired.com article on online advertising our Director of Business Development, Joe Sarmiento was quoted in regards to our viral and/or guerilla methods for marketing Snap to our demographic targets…
"Let's face it," says Joseph Sarmiento, business development director at Pasadena, California-based Snap.com, another default search engine on Netvibes. "People aren't clicking on that stuff as much as they used to." When using a panorama of online advertising methods, for example, Snap's customer-acquisition costs started at $15, Sarmiento says, adding, "I don't have a huge marketing budget." So Sarmiento shifted his online-ad money to Netvibes-styled business development deals and has reduced customer-acquisition costs to below a buck.
