RSS Shot 'Excerpts' View (L) and RSS Shot Expanded View (R)

Much of the feedback we have received recently was about how to make some of the more 'static' content more informative. We took a hard look at that feedback and developed the RSS Shot. We think RSS Shot is going to be infinitely more useful, particularly for sites that link to articles frequently or have extensive blogrolls. We hope you do as well…

This is how the RSS Shot works…

a. Expanded View - If the link is to a site article or blog post ‘permalink’ page, we render an expanded view of the entry (with name of the source and a date/time stamp)

ex. http://metafilter.com/61859/Soviet-era-arcade-games-resurrected

b. Excerpts View - If the link is to a site that has an RSS feed associated with it, we render excerpts of most recent articles posted (typically 2 - 4)

ex. http://techcrunch.com/
