Earlier this week we launched an enhancement to the RSS Shot. The ability to switch between the RSS Shot or a Preview Shot. In this way people can set their own defaults on how and when they want to see Previews or RSS Feed items. I think this is a great enhancement to the RSS Shot. |

the problem is, that in the most cases the RSS isn't really … well …

and as a matter of fact, most users won't use the option-thingie.
the standard should be the Site-Preview, the RSS optional (or give the webmaster who implement the snapshots js code on their site the power to choose). snap-shots is a great product but you should see the quick'n'dirty 15 sec duration time user side.
