Snap Shots Add-On enhances Google Reader with Snap Shots

We are happy to announce the release of Snap Shots Add-On for Internet Explorer. This release follows the release of the Firefox version three weeks ago, and we will be starting to work on a Safari version soon.

The Snap Shot Add-On enables Internet Explorer and Firefox users to experience Snap Shots across the entire web, not just on websites that have installed our server side solution for publishers and bloggers.

In addition, we have added more popular web properties to the list of 'profiled' websites, making sure that Snap Shots are enabled by the Add-On only in areas on these pages where they add value and usefulness to the end user (for example: content of a blog posts and blogrolls are enabled but utility and navigation links are disabled). Among those 'profiled' websites you can find:

• Search engines – Google (in any language), Yahoo (in any language), MSN Live, AOL Search, Ask, Lycos and Baidu
• Blogging platforms – Blogger, Typepad and Vox
• Web based RSS Readers (really cool!) – Netvibes, Google Reader and Bloglines
• Social Networks & Video Sharing – Myspace, YouTube, Metacafe, Google Video, Xanga, Veoh and Revver
• Popular news and blogs sites – Google News, Huffington Post, Drudge Report and more are on the way
• Reference sites - Wikipedia, IMDB
• e-commerce - Amazon.com
• and many more are on the way

The full list of 'profiled' websites can be found under the "Snap Shots Options" menu of the Add-On.
