Google, which maintains a website called SearchMash for testing new technologies and interface designs, is using Snap's website preview technology. The new the SearchMash site uses Adobe's Flash technology rather than AJAX which is used on the primary SearchMash site and selectively in Google's main search results. Said Snap.com CEO and Co-Founder Tom McGovern, "I've always loved using SearchMash. Now that it has website previews, there's just so much more to love." Sites wishing to be part of the next wave of Snap Shots are encouraged to visit Snap Shots Central to learn what's possible now and to register for the free service that's enhancing sites worldwide. Now it's safer for G's users to know whether or not they are really "lucky today". It makes it a lot more valuable to be on the number one spot in search results, because users are much more likely to click on something they can see as opposed to just text. Cool feature!
