London Metropolitan University Experience so far with snap shots: I am a lecturer in Multimedia at London Metropolitan University. I am building a resource website at www.penworks.co.uk and am using snapshots so that students can preview the links they are looking at on the site to help decide which ones are right for them. I have also made a little banner Well, my only thought so far is that perhaps you can offer two sizes of preview screen pop up, so that if the user is using a lot of links on a given page, the smaller pop size could be employed. Just a thought. SNAP reserves the right to disqualify any Contest entrant it finds to be tampering with the entry or voting process or the operation of the Contest or any web site related to the Contest; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; to be using any device to automate the Contest voting process (which is prohibited); to be paying for votes directly or indirectly; or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. 6. RELEASE For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, you hereby irrevocably grant and assign to SNAP, its representatives, licensees, successors and assigns, any and all right, title, and interest or any other rights that you may own or at any time may have in and to all contributions, submissions, postings, text, graphics, ideas, and intellectual property related to your participation in the Contest (collectively, the "Work"), throughout the Universe in perpetuity. You acknowledge that (i) you shall have no right of ownership or any other rights in and to the Work, (ii) the results and proceeds of your services are a work made for hire under U.S. copyright law, and (iii) to the extent such results and proceeds are not deemed a work made for hire for any reason, and/or if you have any other rights or claim of such rights, you hereby irrevocably assign the same to SNAP. Without limiting the foregoing, you hereby waive any and all so-called "moral rights" that you might have in and to the Work, and you agree to sign such other and further documentation as may be required to effectuate the grant of rights and release contemplated herein. You acknowledge that SNAP and its successors, assigns and licensees shall have the full right, but not the obligation, to exploit the Work and to authorize any third party to exploit the Work in any and all media now existing or hereafter created without payment to you of any future compensation (including royalty or other payments). This grant is irrevocable, not subject to rescission or injunction or other equitable relief and you agree that SNAP may proceed in reliance thereon. SNAP's rights hereunder may be assigned, licensed, or otherwise transferred, in whole or in part, and this instrument shall inure to the benefit of SNAP's successors, licensees and assignees. 7. MISCELLANEOUS This instrument contains the entire understanding of the parties, may not be changed or terminated except by an instrument signed by you and SNAP and will be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of California applicable to agreements made and performed in the State of California. In the event of any dispute regarding the Contest (e.g., voting irregularities), SNAP shall have the right to resolve such disputes in its absolute discretion. You warrant that you have the right to enter into this agreement, that you do so as an independent contractor, and that you do not have a commitment to any company, agency, or any other entity that may otherwise be in conflict with this agreement. 8.
