OK, so the Badge-O-Rama contest was a hoot, but, let's be honest, a lot of us aren't so good with Photoshop. And that's OK, because for us, there's a new contest, List-O-Rama.
List-O-Rama works almost exactly the same as Badge-O-Rama, but with a few key differences.
- Create a list with a coherent theme that uses ALL Snap Shots. The order doesn't matter and you can re-use Shots as well. See below for an example.
- Post the list on your site or blog and label it "My Snap.com List-O-Rama Entry". Please include the link back to the contest so that people can comment on your entry and others.
- Submit the link to list-o-rama@snap.com before midnight, February 28, 2008. Note that you must submit a link and NOT the list itself.
- Everyone will be invited to stop by and comment on your list and the ones that receive the most commentary love will win.
- Three prizes of $250 will be awarded to Funniest, Most Creative, and Most Coherent Story (as in the Shots strung together actually tell a meaningful story). Maximum one prize per entrant, although you can enter as many times as you wish and each entry will be considered separately.
- All entrants will receive a Snap Shots T-Shirt. Again, only one shirt per entrant. Please include your address, shirt size, and gender. If you include your site's URL and name, we will be happy to provide a link back to you. (And please, please, please don't ask for a shirt if you haven't written a list!)
- Be nice! No personal attacks, excessive profanity, nudity, hate speech, discrimination, etc. Politics are OK if they're in good taste.
- Official rules and regs after the jump.
Sample entry I (courtesy of Live Comedy LA):
- I may buy stock in the producers of my favorite content…let’s check the stock prices: CBS Corp. (CBS) and Live Nation, Inc. (LYV)
- Definitely going to be laughing at Artie videos on YouTube…and getting chills from great Final Four moments.
- Probably gonna need directions to Gibson Amphitheater and wishing that I needed directions to the Alamo Dome.
- Probably not playing World of War Craft…but hey…whatever floats your boat.
- Hitting up Artie on Myspace.
- Preparing for the next Mid-Major to make the Final Four by reading my favorite blog.
- Seeing if Flickr has any cool shots of Artie.
- Listening to “One Shining Moment”.
- Checking out Artie’s IMDb.
- Doing some research on Wikipedia on the History of the Final Four.
- I’m definitely going to do some shopping - perhaps a DVD….or maybe a book.
- Or maybe I’ll just check out where it all happens…HERE and HERE.
