As the developer of the largest database of website previews on the Internet, Snap gets lots of requests to license our previews. Because that's not our core business, we generally say "no".

Unfortunately, because licensing an image feed is really expensive, a number of sites have begun "scraping" our images. So, starting this week, we've updated some of our code to protect our databases from image scrapers. Now when they scrape, they'll get an error message.

This change will not affect 99.99% of the sites using Snap Shots. However, if you are using Snap Shots properly and you see this message, please notify Snap Customer Service as soon as possible. We encourage ALL sites to sign up and use Snap Shots provided they stay within our Terms of Service.
