With two million sites and blogs using Snap Shots, there a few that defy simple characterization. One of those is Tant Mieux, which translates inadequately as "So Much The Better". "Tant Mieux" is also an inadequate description for the site, which is an art installation/magazine by Sadi Ranson-Polizzotti, a distinguished poet and writer. Her site is one part intensely-personal blog, one part poetry, one part photo gallery, and one part exhaustive study of Bob Dylan.

Add to that, a new highly-controversial biography of Lewis Carroll, the author of Alice in Wonderland.

Carroll, after the Bible and Shakespeare, is the 3rd most popular English language writer of all time and is also one of the most exhaustively researched authors in academia. Sadi Ranson-Polizzotti has rocked the academic world with a stunning revelation: the fantastic stories Carroll told were descriptions of epileptic seizures. And she should know. As a fellow epileptic, she immediately recognized her ailment in his writing, which, unbelievably, was a theme that no one had explored previously.

Mashable, the world’s largest blog focused exclusively on social networks, and Snap Technologies, publisher of Snap Shots, announced today that Mashable has incorporated Snap Shots on its site.

“Snap Shots is a major player in the blog world and we’re excited to add their functionality to Mashable,” said Pete Cashmore, CEO and founder of Mashable. “We think our readers will appreciate the ability to mouse over links and have Snap deliver the content they’re pointing to.”

Mashable, which Technorati.com rates as one of the most influential blogs on the Internet, is the latest of many to add Snap Shots, including Michael Arrington’s TechCrunch.com and Guy Kawasaki’s “How To Change The World”, as well the major blogging platforms Wordpress, Six Apart, and Xanga.

As you may know, Firefox ver 3.0 will be released soon. We did some work recently on the Snap Shots Add-On for Firefox to make sure it is compatible with the new version.
